National AG Day Essay Contest
Students across the country are invited to enter the National Ag Day essay and video contest, sponsored by the Agriculture Council of America. This year’s theme is “Agriculture: Food for Life.” The Council’s objective is to celebrate agriculture and to help consumers better understand how farmers and the companies serving them produce abundant, healthy, nutritious, and safe food that nourishes our families and consumers around the world. For a list of trending topics, please visit the scholarship provider's website. The application deadline is January 31, the number of awards is 2, and the maximum awards amount is $1,000.
Essay contest rules: must contain 450 words or less and begin with a title page containing: official topic, "Agriculture: Food for Life." A bibliography and footnotes will be required for citation. More details apply.
Video contest rules: must address the official topic "Agriculture: Food for Life." The file format of all uploaded videos must be .MP4 or .WMV. The maximum length of the video is two (2) minutes. More details apply.
